Fedora Linux NFS/Network Guru needed

March 26th, 2009

We have a colocated server running Fedora 10 Linux and have recently setup a 2nd NIC on it, with a dedicated LAN for that NIC for backups from other servers. All the hard work is done in terms of server installation, networking setup, etc. however we are having some challenges getting NFS to work on this box.

I need a Linux guru who understands NFS setup to complete the installation of NFS on this box, and to install at least one NFS client on other Fedora Core 5 Linux boxes on that subnet.

Only respond to this if you are at least a 5+ year experienced Linux system administration. I don’t want anyone who is going to learn on the job with this, otherwise I’ll do it myself. You should have setup NFS on dozens of servers before, as this should be about an hour’s worth of work for any competent Linux guru. If you think its going to take much more than that, you are probably not the right person for this job.

US residents will be preferred for this. I’d like to build up a long term system administration relationship with someone here who could assist with future system admin/networking projects we have.

(Budget: $30-250, Jobs: System Admin.)
