Fix mailserver configs (dovecot/exim)

I need someone to fix a couple of bugs in our mailserver configuration. I believe we are currently using Dovecot and exim.

Mail whose ‘Envelope-from’ is a domain configured on our server should be accepted only if the user has authenticated. The same check should (I think) be applied before generating error messages to the alleged sender’s mailbox. Read more…

Webserver/Mailserver checking

A dedicated webserver, hosted on Godaddy, needs to be checked for bugs in the mailserver. Also the hosted websites, which are using the mailserver in their scripts, needs to be checked for bugs specifically of letting spammer send emails through our webserver.
Reason: Mailserver receives thousands of emails per day and reaches immediately the Relay limit so we cannot use our mailserver for own mail. Read more…
